MARQUEES
Our Arcum marquees offer a unique curved roof design which creates a point of difference from other suppliers. They are free standing and don’t have any internal poles to get in the way of your event. These are made in New Zealand, are engineered to suit our forever changing weather systems and can be installed on all hard surfaces. These are a modular structure and sizes start as a 10 x 5m size and extend in 5m increments currently up to a 10 x 50m size.

Marquees that are OVER 100m2 in size must have a building consent.
This is something that we can either allow our clients to arrange or we can take care of and include in the estimate of costs.
The marquee sizes that need the consent are everything from 10 x 15m and up. The 10 x 10m size does not need a consent as its 100m2 exactly in size and the law is anything over 100m2.

When visiting a site pre event we need to see the access from where we park the truck to where the marquee is being installed.
When doing private work at houses or business premises often we have to carry all the items down the side of a house to get to the lawn space at the rear of the premises.
When this is the case additional labour is normally included in the pricing..

We always make sure we are taking extra precautions as far as how we actually build the marquee and any extra pegging methods that may be required.
If need be, we include large concrete blocks that we use to provide extra ballast.

When installing marquees on grass we use the traditional method of inserting large steel pegs to keep them anchored to the ground.
With this method we ALWAYS need to know what underground services may exist so we don't put pegs through things like irrigation lines, power cables, gas lines, fibre optic cables etc.
Typical peg lengths are 750mm up to 1.2m so either of these will easily pierce underground services if we are not aware they exist.
Premium Events will always bring this up with all clients when conducting a site visit and request either the client confirms themselves and marks anything of relevance or Premium Events can engage and include the cost in the estimate for an Underground Service Location expert to come in and scan the site and mark any services accordingly.

When we install marquees on an asphalt car park or a concrete surface we use large concrete weights to hold the structure in place.
